Important update: enhanced portal security coming in October

From October 2026, Sovereign is introducing multi-factor authentication (MFA) for portal log-ins to strengthen the protection of member and employer data. Affected users will receive an email from Sovereign ahead of the change, and will be asked to set up a second verification step at their first log-in afterwards, entering their password as normal followed by a code sent to their chosen authenticator app. There is nothing to do right now; instructions will be sent directly to affected users before the change takes effect.
